Dr. Judy Redman is a leading proponent of recovery. She has dedicated much of her personal and professional life to the betterment of the recovering community. Dr. Redman began her career as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in 2000. She began teaching AOD Counseling Studies in 2004. Aspirant of improving the addiction counseling profession, Dr. Redman is currently the Director of Education at Social Model Recovery.
Dr. Redman campaigns tirelessly to promote education in recovery. She adamantly professes her belief that knowledge brings a component of understanding that is vital to resurgence and change.
Personal recovery has afforded Dr. Redman the opportunity to return to school to earn a Certificate of Completion in Counseling, a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Master’s Degree in Business, a Post Master’s Degree in Education, and her Ph.D.(abd) in Management, with a specialty in Education. Currently, Dr. Redman is completing her Dissertation; Motivational Interviewing’s Impact on Addiction Counselors.
