Kristin Wilhite-Smith began her career as a Holistic Health Practitioner in 1998. She studied Whole Foods Nutrition Counseling and Therapeutic Massage at the School of Healing Arts, San Diego. Before graduation, she started her own holistic practice helping clients be their best through massage, nutrition, ear coning, meditation and yoga. In 2004 and 2009 respectively, she published two yoga videos “Gentle Yoga with Kristin” and “Hiking Yoga.” Her compassion is the foundation of her business.
In the last decade, Kristin broadened her education with The Empowerment Partnership, Kona, HI where she did the masters training course to be certified to work with Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) tools to treat the whole person. By integrating NLP tools, Kristin can help clients remove mental and emotional baggage and the unhealthy behaviors that create negative effects. Her clients report that they have been able to get on with their lives and feel more deeply connected with themselves, their intuition, other people and their higher power.
Kristin found wellness for herself through her studies by implementing everything she learned and became a great teacher by experience. She teaches Holistic Nutrition, Health and Wellness for a recovery and mental health center in Carlsbad, CA. She teaches Zen Yoga and has been a renowned bodyworker since 1995. She has been published in Bellissima Magazine for nutrition and is currently writing for Recovery Illustrated (formerly “Step 12”) Magazine.
